    Hi,

    I’m making an animation in after effects,
    using illustration and some filmmaterial.
    But the avi’s are showing some kind of white cross over the material.

    At first I thought it was just some kind of ruler, but
    I just rendered the movie and the crosses are still in it!

    How do I get ride of them?

    Greetings,
    Charlot

    This usually means that you are using a demo version of a plug-in or codec. Look at the effects you’re using or find out what codec your AVI file is using, then contact the publisher of said software and purchase a license for it.

    Hi Charlot,

    As Timothy Kurkoski states in his reply to you, this is almost always an issue of having a demo plug-in which is showing you what it can do but adds the red or white X so that you have to license it to get it removed. (Otherwise, no one would license the plug-in and just use it forever in demo mode.)

    If you have more information regarding an instance that isn’t of this nature and needs further support help, please give us more information.

    Beast regards,
