I dabble in AE for some basic opening titles, lower thirds, that sort of thing for the corporate videos I shoot. I shot an event a few weeks ago and I had a fly flying directly in front of the stage the whole event. Before I show the footage to the client I want to know if there’s a way to easily track and remove the fly without costing them an arm and a leg for me to rotto it by hand. Thoughts? Any good tutorials online for something like this? Thanks!

For tracking, probably not. The fly is too low contrast to be a reliable feature. Heck, it took me a while to even find it with my eyes. ☺

Hand roto is probably your best bet, before moving on to either a simple patch clone, a further blurring or similar offset etc.
