remove optimized media
Hi All
I’ve imported all my recorded movies from my camcorder to FCP with ‘create proxy media’ AND ‘create optimized media’ enabled. This resulted in a huge amount of hard disk capacity being used for the optimized media (> 300GB of the available 500 GB). I want to undo this or remove these optimized media files without FCP crashing or showing errors.
Can I just go the folder containing the optimized media files and move them all to trash? OR should I do this from within FCP so FCP knows these are no longer available?Thanks for all help.
