  • Remove new ‘NBTitler’ from VP10

Posted by Geoff Candy on November 7, 2011 at 12:41 pm

The NBTitler supplied with VP11 appears as a trial in VP10. On opening VP10 a warning screen displays the fact that my graphics do no support GPU. VP10 continues loading only after I acknowledge the warning.

I am aware of that fact and I have no wish to purchase another copy of NBTitler.

How can I disable this message without uninstalling NBTitler from the machine?

Their Titler will soon be available specifically for Vegas 10
and other NLE hosts. At the moment, Vegas 11 is the only
NLE/version all will be well using Titler Pro in, as long as
you have the right GPU Card.

Once installed for Vegas Pro 11, all versions of Vegas that support OpenFX will also see the plugins. You cannot remove it from one version without removing it from all versions.

I, too, have a machine with a video card that is barely capable and get that warning message each time Vegas Pro is started. I’ll talk to the proper people about it and see if we can get that message to pop up less frequently in a future release.

    Hi Edward,

That would be much appreciated. It really is a nuiscance at present.

I’m sure that there are many users like myself who are well aware of their graphics card limitation and are waiting to see which nVidia cards are really suitable without breaking the bank.

I also have a cineform issue with VP11 (not cineform’s problem however) so staying with VP10 for the time being but testing/familarising with VP11 ready for a later changeover.

    Once again thanks Geoff C

While updating your video card driver might not help with Vegas itself, it could still help with Titler Pro and should get rid of the message popping up anyway.

Am currently using onboard graphics (asus p8Z68 v pro).

Graphics driver up to date but graphics are Intel.
I understand Intel have not got things quite correct.

Will wait 6 months an then add a suitable graphics card.

In the mean time I have uninstalled NBTitler.
