  Remove Date and Time stamp using after effects

  I am trying to remove the date and time stamp from my movie. As a solution, I am scaling up where ever I can, but there are some shots where I cannot scale and am planning to use the clone stamp tool in after effects. I have 2 questions –

  1) Is there a better way that the clone stamp tool?
  2) I am editing premiere pro. How should I transfer the edited clips to after effects and back?
