  • Remove and Re-Install FCP 4.5?

Posted by Brad Froman on February 8, 2006 at 11:21 pm

Due to my Promax drive getting corrupted, I will have to re-initialize my RAID ARRAY. Some of my FCP documents are on it. So, I’m thinking I should completely remove FCP 4.5 from my main boot drive. Can someone let me know the cleanest way to remove the application?

Also, I have the discs to re-install FCP 4.0, but 4.5 HD was a free upgrade that I seem to remember was downloaded from apple.com. Does anyone know how I can now get that download?

    Thanks.

There is no valid reason to rebuild your entire system just because the RIAD went down. None.

You’re right. The documents FCP was looking for on the RAID — that prevented the application from opening– was rectified by selecting a different scratch disc. Thanks.
