    Hello fellow Premiere editors,

I’m an AE and have been tasked with setting up some kind of remote Premiere Productions environment between me and an editor for a short doc project.

I wonder if anyone knows of any budget friendly and straightforward way to set up a system that would allow easy collaboration with Premiere Productions.

I did a little bit of research and some recommend Syncthing real-time syncing two drives (1 with the AE, 1 with the editor) via the Internet, does anyone have experience with it?

Would love to hear your suggestions! Thank you.

    Hi,

Actually, once both parties have all the materials on their own hard drives, any changes needed during the editing process or new materials to be produced can be resolved simply by transferring the project and the new materials, without the need for a paid system.

Perhaps Premiere Productions could be used for a more robust exchange. No need to relink at each project transfer. There are plenty of training videos on this.

Online sync systems don’t seem necessary to me for a small project.

Wouldn’t a simple remote session like Team Viewer or VNC be adequate?
