    Relinking to moved media, R3D clips lose Red Codec Settings

    Hi,
    I have a partially graded Red project conformed from a FCP XML.
    I need to move the source media from its current location to the system’s internal RAID.
    When I re-conform the same XML to the media in the new location, all my grades come through but all the clips lose their individual “Edit RED Codec Settings” and revert to the project default.
    That’s a drag and I’d rather not have to individually re-adjust them.

    What is a better way to reconnect my timeline to the media in the new location?

    use change parent directory in the media pool
