  Relinking Renamed Files in DaVinci Resolve from a FCP 10 XML

  I’ve got a very long project which is about two hours long, and was shot on a RED camera.

  However, the edit was done with transcoded media that has a completely different naming structure to the original R3D files. i.e. the Red files are the usual R3D, the clips in the XML are “6 s.7 t.2”.

  I have a table of which files relate to which: “6 s.7 t.2” belongs to “A022_C012_0529XQ_001” on a spreadsheet.

  Is there a way using Resolve, or Final Cut to force conform to that media using the same timecode?

  The whole piece is far too long to manually re-cut to.
