Relinking Issues with 10.4
Folks, I have noticed that I’ve been having some relinking issues with 10.4 when trying to relink content back to it’s original source (whether it’s audio or video).
The error dialogue says one thing, but the offline clip and source clip form which it came from will not reconnect. In this case my duration and audio channels configurations are the same. In the image below I reimported the original source clip that the offline one won’t relink to (but should). I know the audio configuration is not shown , but they are identical.

Has anyone encountered this and how did you remedy it?
