  • Relinking clips in timeline when xml import

    Hi.
I´m in a proyect of a 50 min. documentary film, and the job is shared with another editor. He shares with me the rought cuts and i make all the fine cuts and postproduction. He has PPro CC2015 and i have CS6, so as the CC2015 proyect files can´t be openened in CS6, were working with XMLs. When he sends me the xml of a new sequence, sometimes i have to reimport clips that are already imported in my proyect, this way i go on having plenty of duplicated clips in the proyect pannel every xml import i make.
So my question: is there a way in CS6 to tell the program to use the already imported master clip for the new xml sequence or to relink clips in the timeline to a master clip already imported instead of having to reimport them again and again?
    Thanks!
