Relink R3D after Export Da Vinci
Hello there!
At th moment, I’m trying to figure out a dynamik Workflow between PremierePro and DaVinci Resolve, so that it is possible, to do editorial corrections after Color Grading (I know, that is not the way it is supposed to be, but I am working on Projects with very thight Deadlines).
90% of the Footage is R3D. My approach would be, to send an XML to Da Vinci, change the Project-Settings, so that DaVinci automatically creates a Mastertimeline and the actuall Sequence, do the Grading in the actuall Sequenz and Render the Footage from the Master-Timeline (not the Local Timeline).
Back in Premiere, instead of reimporting an XML, I would rather like to make the R3D in the final Sequence offline and replace it with the render-Movs from Da Vinci. They have the same lenght and NEARLY the the same Filename.
PROBLEM: Da Vinci drops the _001/_002 Filename-Ending of the RED Footage when rendering. Premiere, however, needs this ending in order to do a automatic relink.
Is there something I can do, to make this work???
