January 4, 2016 at 3:18 amHi Julian,
My EX1 is Ver 1.11. I understand that Ver 1.13 is first required then Ver 1.30. Version 1.30 would allow for use of a Sonnet SxS to SD card adapter. This is my intention.
I think I require a usable version of these upgrade files.
Would it be possible to send Windows versions I might copy to a FAT32 SD card for windows computer download?
My EX1 has USB port located in recess under rotating hand grip. No problems.
Sincere thanks,
Ron.

I’ve sent you a dropbox link to the files.
Let me know if you have any problems downloading them.

Julian. -

January 5, 2016 at 1:27 amHi Julian,
Thanks, Drop Box files arrived & downloaded. I really appreciate your assistance. Thank you.
To be up front, further research on the topic has unearthed several frightening experiences. Nice camera to brick in one mouse click! Being an IT coward, contacted Sony Pro Service for their quote, AU$280.00. In my case probably the way to go.
Many thanks, Julian.
Regards,
Ron.

I have a camera EX1 and am facing a problem with an error message that appears on the display E17003. I swear I do not know what to do.
I followed the post yours and I saw that you talk about doing a reload from the firmware 1.5, you could help me because I do not know how to do.
Thank you very much your help. -

Have you done a firmware upgrade, or has the error just occured?I’ve got the firmware files on dropbox, and they contain the details of how to upgrade. Although it sounds as though you may have to go down first.
I’m not sure if this link will work but try this:

Earlier posts should help you out about what version to go back to. I haven’t done any firmware upgrades for a while now.
