reL FCP keeps quitting
I have a G5 Quad. I transferred everything from my G4/ FCP 3. Now when I play the sequence the program keeps quitting. I was on the phone with a tech for 2 hours on Friday. I trashed the preferences, started a new sequence. This is a big project. I have been working on it for a year. I need all the help I can get. Any thoughts?

Are your clips in the old FCP media format? Because, FCP5 puts them into little QT movies. If this is the case try exporting your media files into qt files and then reimporting them.

Oh..I did make a quick time move and then brought it back into the sequence but it still quit.

if you brought it back into the same sequence that may happen. open a new project and new sequence and put the new clips into it.
