Reinstall of Sony Vegas Pro 13
My last hard drive died so I had to reinstall Vegas Pro 13 on a new Windows 7 installation. I’m trying to register but the registration process hangs at “Now contacting the server and processing your request”. I entered the original serial number I received when I purchased this program from Sony around 2 years ago. Am I able to reregister and use this software again? I don’t want to have to spend another $600 on a program just because I had to reinstall a new copy on the same computer.

Pretty sure Magix will help with this. Call them.

You’re right. I tried the install again and clicked ‘Register from another computer’ which prompted me to register with Magix. After doing so I received another activation code in my email. Thank you!
