  Referencing an image in media pool but not in any timeline

  Hi
  Can anyone tell me if its possible to link to or reference an image in the media pool but not in any timeline?

  I mean directly from a node in the node browser.

  I’ve created some custom vignettes and gels in photoshop and saved out as jogs.

  Then added these to my Media Pool.

  I want to use these in combination with LayerNodes and blend modes in my node browser.

  Possible?
