    Thanks Dan Ebberts for responding to my last post, and sorry for posting again so soon, but…

    is there a way to refference a particular frame from a nested comp according to an expression?

    i.e. in my master comp my playhead is on frame 10, and my epxression slider has a value of 20, causing nested comp is displaying its frame 20?

    Thanks in advance for help,

    Alex

    Yes. You would turn on time remapping for the nested comp layer in your main comp, then apply a time remapping expession that calculates the time based on the slider value like this:

    s = (pick whip to your slider here);
    framesToTime(s)
