I’ve giving up on this plugin. It works fine within vegas, but as I render the video, none of the blurry effect is applied.
I’ve tried: resetting vegas, deleting the cache, turning video GPU acceleration off, and tried rending 5 different ways, nothing seems to work.
I’m running sony vegas v.13 with rsmb v.4

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

try disabling resample on a clip, render that and see if it makes a difference?

I forgot to mention, I did try rendering without resampling and with smart sample, but no still no effect.
I did managed to get it to work, by creating a new project and adding a small video as a test, which worked fined.
Unfortunately, I’ve put around 5-6 hours into my original project, so I cannot start over just to add this effect.
Any other ideas what the problem might be?
Last option would be to render the video, open it in a new project and apply the effect from there.

    Andrei,

It might be quicker to cut in front of the problem section and behind, then mark from cut to cut as a region. Render out that region (using something like Sony XAVC Long or XAVC Intra to reduce quality loss) then bring the region render back on a new track, align with the problem section, delete the problem section, render out the whole project. Make incremental ‘save as’ as you progress. Just a suggestion.

Thanks for the help, your idea was better.
I managed to get it working. Apparently, the problem was rendering with the cpu. I changed it to cuda, and it worked. Not only that, the rendering was faster and everything seems more smooth as well.
