  • Reels as Project o Timeline? (Limited Powergrades amount)

    I’m grading a 3D feature.

DCI requires working with 15-minute reels.

I have shots repeated in different reels, I’d like to re-use the grades:
My plan was storing Powergrades for all the shots so I can port them from one project to the other.
Every reel is a different Project.

I’ve aparently exceeded the amount of available stills to store as Powergrades.

I save them but when closing the project and opening the next reel’s they’re gone.
It handles up to a certin number, then forgets down to last time saved within its stills capacity.

I may have the reels as different Timelines within the same project, but then the project would become 5 times heavier…
An I use the timelines to have different Left and Right versions, if I mix different reels…

This is the only solution I see, any better thoughts?

How do you guys work the reels, as projects or timelines?

    Thanks a lot!!
