Red3GL with 5.1.2 lost options
I keep loosing the options button when trying to apply a red filter in my FCP512.
I know how to get in back by trashing the two relevant prefs files, but it’s a real PITA having to do this so often.
Has anyone established exactly what causes this to happen. I don’t use Red enough to justify an upgrade and I understand that there are still problems with 4 anyway in FCP.

This has been discussed on the Boris forum. Boris claims that the problem is on Apple’s side and until Apple fixes it there is nothing that can be done, short of the “trashing workaround.” I have been working with Boris products over the past ten years and I find their tech support to be excellent and honest.
