Has anyone tried to make a red letter x in motion and bring it into final cut using a dv anamorphic setting? its pretty jaggie…any ideas?

Must be the font you are using. Try a different font and monitor on an external monitor.

Friends don’t let friends put red on black in DV.
What I am saying is, try a different color red, or a different color all together.
Be sure to render your timeline as well. Graphics in DV get trashed and so does red.
