    Hey all,

Having a problem with a red logo that I have imported from Photoshop file tearing in the HDV timeline. I have tried adding a Broadcast Safe filter, various render settings in the timeline settings…nothing seems to help.

I really need this to look good, but it really looks bad…in a still…when the timeline is not playing it looks great in a still.

    I am at a loss…

    Thanks all,

It appears that if I drop down to 16 bit on the output from Photoshop…it fixes the problem I had.

I don’t understand it, but that is the fix that is working…I would think that it would have effected more than just the reds in the logo.

Anyone have any other input on it, I would like to hear it.

    Thanks all,

Are you looking at it on a real video monitor, or the computer monitor (a big no no)?
Is it legal red for video?
