Red Screen in Canvas when trimming a clip
A clip plays normally, but when I try to trim it in the timeline, either by dragging its end, or using the slip or roll tools, the canvas window turns red instead of showing the video being trimmed. When I let go, the video returns in the canvas. I’ve been editing on FCP for many years, but have never seen this before.

I’m gonna answer my own post since I found the solution on the LAFCPUG. Change the monitor display settings from thousands of colors to millions of colors. That’s it!
