RED MX video editing and ARRI Alexa metadata

Newbie here =)
I am doing some editing with Arri Alexa and RED MX files in MAC, Final Cut.Alexa files were a bit naggy at start because I had to extract them from the original folder and it’s not like a simple ‘move file’, it’s like copy/paste and delete original. And it took time.
Editing those files in Final Cut is straight forward =)- I just don’t know where to get the Metadata from the Alexa ProRes4444’s *.mov files. Meaning ISO, WB, shutter degrees, etc, etc (??)
Now with RED MX… I have the folders with *.RED files and the *.mov proxies (P, M, H, F). I can only use the proxies in the Final Cut. But when I hit play I get the “Unrendered” screen.
- How can I edit video from RED MX and be able to hit play to preview, without having to render the whole thing?
