    Red Giant Text Matrix and tracking

    I’m trying to parent my TextMatrix layer, which is a random text effect, to my nullobject which contains the tracker. All goes well when I parent my standard text layer to the null object, but nothing happens when i parent the TextMatrix layer to the tracker/null object.

    The TextMatrix effect is on a solid layer set to blending mode screen.
    Anyone knows whats wrong here?
