Working with Resolve Lite 8.2.1 Grading a feature shot on RED ONE. For some reason on file will not render with proper in and out point and also is not taking the grade. I tried making a local version of the correction and tried to render just that clip but Resolve still wants to render the entire clip with no grade. Is there a way for me to get it to work? Hmmm.

Are you grading from the raw? What’s the name of the file?

Hi Brandon – Yes it is an R3D file that has variable speed adjustment. Perhaps that is the issue? File name is A087_C006_082420

    thanks

Yes probably a limitation of working with the live R3D. I know you can’t do render cache with R3D either. Try rendering it out at 1:1 speed. Then recreate speed effect back in your NLE. Better workflow anyway to color at 1:1 speed in Resolve anyway…
