    Hi there,

Pulling my hair out. Trying to log and transfer R3D to Apple Pro Res 422 (HQ) in FCP.

When clips are done, they are RADICALLY shorter (5 minute clips become 3:30, etc). I have checked the in/out clips (i tried NOT setting in and out points in log and transfer AND setting IN/OUT points at the very start and end of each clip). No matter what I do, the program seems to set its own in and out points.

What can I do to fix this???

Did you get it figured out? Have you tried deleting your preferences?

I did not figure it out. I just kept re-exporting the clips that were too short until they were the right length. In some cases I had to re-export 6 or 7 times. Red software/fcp plugin is simply not good enough by a long shot methinks.

    No,

I just kept re-exporting until it worked. It only took 2 or 3 times. About 60 percent worked the first time. RED post production just sucks. Good thing the footage looks so good.
