Hello, I am editing Red clips in a 1080 sequence. Final destination is DVD

Do I have to render the work area? now I have the red line and working with previews. am I downscaling doing this?

To create DVD with maximun possible quality. Do I have to export in some particular format, g to encode and then encore? like you do in FC with compressor and DVDSP. or I just have to export a DVD MPEG-2 file?

    Best regards

Choose the Mpeg2 DVD preset when exporting.
Adjust data rate to maximize quality to space ratio.
When that is done, import the 2 files into Encore, set first play, test and burn.

    Try the default setting first.
If that does not give a good result tweak the target and max.
Dont forget to set Use Max Render Quality and do not use Preview Files.
You do not need to render before export.
