Thanks,
Peter.

January 31, 2012 at 10:40 pmPreferences/Settings were the first place when I looked, but … I’m at the front of my system and:
-composition window – preview quality: high
-composition window – preview resolution: full
– render in draft mode – uncheckedTransition quality is poor … soft images, looks like in draft mode – sorry.
I try preset: Library >Transitions/DVE Transitions/Wipes/QuadBar DVEIt is interesting, that not all presets are poor ! Some looks perfect.
I use only presets for my tests. -

February 1, 2012 at 2:43 pmOkay – I think I have figured it out.
• Load the preset that you were using (QuadBar DVE Wipe)
• Select Track 1
• Go to the Composite Tab in the Controls Window
• Scroll down and observe that there is a parameter labelled Horizontal
• Remove any keyframes for this parameter and set the value to 0 (or you can achieve the same thing by setting the keyframe interpolation for this parameter to Constant and setting the value to 0)Do the same thing for the other track.
Please let me know if this produces the result that you have in mind.
Cheers,
Peter.

February 2, 2012 at 9:48 amI have tested more presets. It looks like new version has some problem to open correctly “older” presets. Very often horizontal and/or vertical parameter is set to 15 – 16 value.
