  Red 3GL on a PCIe Mac G5 (with a nVidia 7800 GT video card)?

  I’m about to make a big purchase for me and buy a Mac G5 dual core 2.3 with the video card mentioned above. This is a PCIe machine where as the older G5s had PCIx interfaces and video cards. I know the change has caused a need for a patch/ hack to get FCP 4.5 working on a PCIe G5 and was concerned that there might be a similar conflict with Red and the new G5.
  So I was wondering if anyone’s running Red on a PCIe G5 or heard if this works okay. Also, I’m a little confused as to whether the 7800 is approved according to Boris FX’s list of approved video cards. One of key the reasons I’m buying this video card is to get better performance from Red, so is this a wise choice?
  Thanks ahead of time for any help as this is a big purchase for me and I don’t want to make a mistake I’ll regret!
