Recreating Abstract Background Effect
Hi all,
I’m trying to recreate a simple abstract background effect from a TV show in AE. I’m not sure what program they originally used, and the effect is really quite simple, but I can’t quite seem to match it.It looks like they may have just done some simple expressions inside of particular, and added some glow. Can anyone give me a breakdown of how to recreate it? I would consider myself an intermediate AE user (I just haven’t done much motion graphics with it, and have almost never used particular).

Check out this tutorial from Eran Stern- you can use the same technique he uses for creating the disc layer to make your glowing squares.
