    What is the best work flow/set up when trying to isolate just the performers sound not the general public walking by. Is it easy to plug their microphone into my recording device while still allowing their sound to be projected from their amp.

    Hello John,

    Sure, take a split from their mic, but I’d try to record some ambient sound as well to keep a sense of space which you can control in post. Otherwise, you won’t get the sound of the amp, which is part of the experience.
