recording music with a faster rate
hello everyone,
i just installed and started using sony vegas yesterday and im having problems with making a song clip. its just a simple 30 second clip with a faster rate (1.0 to 1.25) and when i hit record the rate goes back to 1.0. can i fix that to stay at 1.25 during the recording or no?

No. Record it at normal rate. Once recorded, hold down the CTRL key and resize it smaller to speed it up. Changing the rate the way you changed it only affects the PREVIEW and not any of the actual renderings.

Multiple ways. If you only want to increase the volume on the track, change the volume slider on the audio track. If you want to adjust volume dynamically over time, add a volume envelope and adjust as needed.
