    Hi,
I recently purchased an XLH1 to shoot some short films and possibly a feature on, and I want to get the best image possible out of it without breaking the bank. I’m wondering if I can shoot in the 24F mode and use the HDSDI out to go to something like a DVCPRO HD deck to get 4:2:2 instead of 4:2:0 video. I’d really like to record to a portable hard drive or a raid system but I’m not sure what kind of captrue card and software I’d need to do this, and I’m guessing it isn’t very cost effective or practical on set. This is why I’m thinking about a DVCPRO HD deck, although it’s still compressed at least it’s 4:2:2. Anyway is this even possible? Thanks for the help.
