  Recording AND transferring data AT THE SAME TIME!

  Noticed something usually but very usefully the other day.
  The setup – KiPro (HD 1080 record) KiPro Mini (SD 576 backup record) Units are networked together as a gang record.
  At a music festival recording with plenty of Hard Drives for the Main KiPro but the KiPro Mini (backup record)has only 1x64Gb card so I need to transfer data from the Mini often. The units are gang recording. So I noticed that when I change the Mini to transfer mode (Data-LAN) and start the transfer of data then also started the gang record the Main KiPro goes into record , the mini doesn’t show up as recording yet the available storage is decreasing and when stopped there is a recorded file!!! I have not tested this fully with HD recording and suspect that there may be bandwidth issues. Useful “feature”! I am sure the following posts will be “it shouldn’t be done” but hey good to know when your out of space and can’t delete the files on the current drive.
