Record onto timeline & hear at same time
I tried recording directly onto the timeline & this seemed to record OK. What do I need to do to hear through my speakers what is being recorded as it’s been recorded?

Right-click in the track header > Record Inputs>InputMonitor>On

Input monitoring can be enabled through the track header (Right Click > Record Inputs > Input Monitoring) but I think your sound card needs to be one that uses ASIO drivers for this to operate.
If you don’t have this, the best way is to monitor by listening to your audio source whilst watching the levels in vegas.
