Record Audio and Video together n Sony Vegas Pro 11? Assitance
I have recently purchased Sony Vegas Pro 11 for 2 reasons. 1st was to do a job for a client in converting video files, changing voice track on original video and compressing them together in different format. It took me 2 weeks but I finished 24 videos… 2nd I thought would be easier, I have another business that we are filming a our first webcast in 3 days from now and want to use software for recording video and audio at same time and then playing on my websites as webcast.
I have ran into many issues and hope anyone can point me in right direction. I am a website designer and software engineer.. so I know computers .. but I am not going to lie, I am a beginner in this field. I apologize in advance if I ask simple questions. lol
1. Should I be using Sony Vegas Pro 11 for what I am doing? Is there a better solution?
2. Why can’t I seem to record video and audio in Vegas together? I have tried a camcorder and hdmi and couldn’t recognize.. I found out I should use fire wire, but camcorder didn’t have input. Now I have Microsoft Webcam HD life cam 5000 and seem to get no audio output and it conflicts with other devices. I am uninstalling several devices and thought I would take the time to ask.I am basically looking to get a webcast done and dont want to try and learn “timing” (if possible) since I heard it is pretty difficult.
