    Hello!
For my youtube channel I have to wear a mask to create a certain atmosphere and record 1-2 hours long videos once every 2 days. As you imagine the voice deforms when I talk through it and not as clear as without it. Please, check these files out:

    9668_original.wav.zip
    9667_mask.wav.zip

I want to ask Audio professionals whether there are filters that can help me to match my mask recording with the original one. Already own Audition and Reaper. Thank you for help!

Hello Johnny and welcome to the Cow Audio Forum.

I think the viewer will accept the voice change as long as it doesn’t. In your mask sample, you do sound a bit masked.

Is there any way to alter the mask slightly so that it doesn’t cover as much of your mouth or nose?

Thank you for your reply. Actually it’s a good advice. The thing is I have to put cam a bit higher so the viewers won’t notice that the mask is not fully attached. I guess that would work, but still are there any filters that could help me to improve a “masked” voice?

    not to my knowledge.

They might make it sound different, but not better.
