I am editing a fashion video shot on Red Epic using Premiere Pro CS 5.5 as I know this application (unlike FCP) reads Raw Red Footage (aka R3Ds)

Not having any initial luck in importing the R3Ds, I sadly had to resort to transcode all the Epic footage to ProRes (422 HQ) and I carried out the edit in this codec (three days of “watching paint dry”)

Having updated my OSX (to Snow Leopard, yes I’m nearly 4 years late), I finally downloaded the plugin that would allow me to import Epic/Scarlet 5K R3D footage into Premiere.

How do I relink the ProRes clips in my sequence to their R3D clips.

    Help needed urgently!!! 🙁
