Reconnecting media on FCP 7 – media is offline in sequence and bin, but won’t show up in reconnect browser?
I moved some footage that had gotten inadvertently stored on the Mac HD in a capture scratch folder somehow when our FCP 7 System got initially set up. Moved the footy to the external HD, and now when I go to reconnect the media, which is listed as offline in both the sequence and the bin, nothing shows up in the reconnect browser for me to search or locate to relink to? I see the files in the drive, but just cant get anything to show up in the reconnect browser?

the wonderful quarks of fcp… yes this happens a lot. You will have to manually, one by one, locate each file in the reconnect. It sucks I know, but i don’t understand why FCP does this
