Reconnecting media after drive crash
Ok the drive I was working on crashed a few days ago, I recovered everything and transfered it to another drive using Data Rescue II software. All of the quicktimes and project files were saved (although the project can’t be read, but I had it backed-up else where) I open my other project and it looks like all the media is reconnecting but it is in fact not. When I use the reconnect option for individual clips it doesn’t even recognize them as video files. (a few clips from each bin have reconnected, maybe 4-5 per bin out of 100+ clips in each one)
I have never seen this before, and have used this software before and everything worked great… any ideas as to what the issue might be? (I can open the all clips outside of final cut with quicktime player…)
