    Hello,

    Just a question about the EX1 workflow.
    Supposing I have a FCP project with EX1 footage that has been backed up to both DVD-DL and HD and the client comes back a year later looking for a re-edit.

    How have I ensured that all clips are easily re-connectable (just re-connecting from FCP doesn’t work as far as I know).

    Do I ensure that the Clip Browser cache database is resides with the project?

    I can’t seem to find much on this scenario in any of the workflows. The

    If you back up the BPAV, you’d input again keeping the file names the same.
    If you back up the MOV, you’d input that of course.

    Now if you’re just trying to reconnect the timeline it might be a bit of a bother figuring out which clips to re input to avoid inputing everything from you’re backup.
