Reconnecting assets in AE
I’ve looked around the site for answers to this question and it hasn’t turned up, but please let me know if there’s already information out there about this specific problem.
Here goes: I was working on an AE project at work and am now working on it from home. When I open the project on my home Mac, all of my various comps are there and the layers all still have their effects and moves applied, but the assets within those layers are gone.
I have the original illustrator doc and assumed it might be easy enough to simply reload footage, but that function has not worked. I really want to get back to actually working on the project and not just fiddling with media, but I seem to have hit an impasse. If there’s more information that might be helpful to you in providing an answer, please don’t hesitate to ask. In the meantime, thanks for any assistance.
