recommended Computer setup
I work for a large company and use vegas 7.0 to edit and export large programs (1-3 hours is common) for streaming on the web. I have some budget to get 2 of the computers running vegas upgraded. At present they are: dell Optiplex with P4 3.20 processor and 1 gb ram. It also has a videum brand video card installed.
question, will Vegas render work faster with a dual processor and more ram?
The tech dept I assume will have some standard boxes they will want to setup for me. One box I do have is a Dell with a dual core 2.13 processor and 2 gb ram. would this be one to request?
any suggestions are most appreciated.

Dual core with 2G of RAM will make you a much happier person.
