1st of all, what’s wrong w/ your PPro? Why not try to fix that since you already have it? 2nd what are you looking for to accomplish? Premiere Element might be what you need.Perry

January 16, 2007 at 8:31 pmThanks again Mike.
I have just downloaded the demo which has captured fine.
Is it possible to download music to this software to use over the top of the visuals. Also to narrate.
Haveing viewed your profile Mike i see you are a videographer as well.
I am now starting out with a canon XL1s with no prior experience.I will be going to a workshop to learn the basics at the end of the month.
Have you any advice about earning a living as a videographer?
Like you i am fed up with doing somthing i don`t enjoy and feel videography is the step to a happier future.
You have as always been very helpful.
Thanks again.

Music from where?[George Lucasade] “Have you any advice about earning a living as a videographer?”
DO NOT quit your day job!! The problem with earning a living at any job is the “enjoyability factor” as it effects supply. Videography is high and therefor supply is high and wages are low.
Waste management on the other hand is low and folks get paid darn good money for cleaning sewers.
Of course using skill and talent and experience one can make good living in this biz, but the apprenticeship is long. -

Unfortunatly my Premiere Pro doesn`t work on my computer.
When i`ve captured with MovieMaker it allows me to import music from my computer to use as background as well as or instead of dialogue. -

In what way outside of the capture problems you’re having? I’ve also noticed that you have not listed the specs of your system and how you are setting up your project, connection to your system and workflow up till you are having problems, this information is crucial to troubleshooting problems.
