Recommendation for De-Interlacer
Hi. I am looking for a good de-interlacing plug-in for After Effects. Specifically, I will be de-interlacing a lot of TV commercials, and what the client has a problem with (with the options I have tried so far) is the jagged edges that come up in logos and supers. But they hate the “black lines” that the interlaced files show on the computer far more. Do any of the available plug-ins for AE do a better job than just using the interpret footage options?

plugins work a little better with heavy motion but AE’s preserve edges on isn’t that bad for static shots. Here’s a short list. Download the demos and do a screenshot test. bcc seems to connect lines the best.
