Recommend a FAST BIG external drive?
I need a FAST BIG external drive for my imac. I’ve been happy with Glyph drives, but am wondering if I just need another 4T Glyph or if there’s something else out there I should know about. I see recommends online for Seagate! (I hate seagate they CRASH). Don’t know which online recommends I can trust. Suggestions? Portability not important. Speed and size are important.

I have used Promise RAIDs for almost two decades now. My current is 32TB, super fast, no issues after several years of work.
When you say “BIG” exactly what do you mean? To me, that’s 15TB and above. To someone else that may be 4TB and above. Very subjective term to ask.
BTW, we’ve gone through many Seagate drives and none have ever failed on us.
