NAB has passed and up until this point the prevailing view has been that rechargeable batteries are not suitable for wireless systems and such.

Well we use six 9v batteries everytime we shoot and I’m feeling guilty, though we still dispose of them properly.

Has there been any progress in this area or are most pros sticking with good ol’ alkaline.

Who’s having success with the rechargeables?

I’ll be buying the iPower lithium polymer 9-volt rechargeables with charger soon (maybe even this week) for use with my Lectrosonics 200 series transmitters. Here’s a quote from Trew Audio’s website:

    Can I get an AHMEN!

I went to trewaudio.com and read the review. That’s high praise from Mr. Lectrosonics.

Looks like we have a winner here.

    Thanks Rodney!

I have been using them for 8 months, Very happy with them. Started with 4 now I have 6.
If you forget to charge them you can plug them in in the car on the way to work.
