  Recapture trimmed Canon DSLR clips from imported FCP XML project

  I am experimenting with moving FCP projects to Premiere CS5. Though I’m new to Premiere, I’ve scoured the help file and can’t find a way to do this.

  The original FCP project was edited from ProRes transcoded Canon DSLR clips captured using Log & Transfer. Subsequently I media managed the project to an offline consolidated version with handles, and re-imported trimmed clips using batch capture.

  I have exported this project as an XML file and now want to see if I can recapture from the original camera card files, not the ProRes transcodes. I can’t see an easy way to do this. Can anyone help?
