    I need to recapture media for a project that was done and removed from my system, but I only want to recapture what was actually used in the 4 min time line, as opposed to the 60 of footage that was orignally captured.

    I know I need to use Media Manager, but I can’t figure out the correct setting to do this.

    Thanks in advance;

    I haven’t done this recently (in FCS2). Last time, I opened the project sequence, highlighted all the clips, and used batch capture. At that point you can specify handles. I don’t think this will work with nested clips unless can you open the nests and batch capture their individual clips. Just guessing there. Hope this helps.

    Media Manager doesn’t work like it should.
